WESTECH provided all IT support services for 300 users at 7 locations in 6 states. This included desktop computing support, infrastructure computing services, enterprise database administration, software developments, implementation and maintenance of Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition/Energy Management System (SCADA/EMS), telecommunication operations, and warehouse operations.
National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Environmental Technology Laboratory (ETL).

WESTECH built a high performance computing environment for the ETL Control Center. The ETL Control Center monitors all networks, communications, and computer operations into and out of NOAA’s Boulder Office, NOAA Headquarters, and field offices throughout the world. WESTECH was responsible for scientific desktop support, high performance computing, network services, and IT security to include cyber security.

WESTECH was responsible for all IT services to include unsecured and secured network support, local and wide area network administration, desktop support, and database development and maintenance. WESTECH was responsible for the telephones, two-way radios, and telecommunication operations to include maintenance on a variety of cable systems including hundreds of feet of fiber optic, copper, LAN, and telecommunications, both fixed and temporary.

WESTECH supports three extensive data networks, data recovery system instrumentation and displays, the Surface Range Scoring and Monitoring System, and various remotely located instrumentation sites used to support real-time and post-flight mission analysis. Desktop computer support is provided to 160 personnel at the remotely located Centroid facility and 17 other sites.
